  • Day 1 Arrival
    Arrival at the airport. Our transfer service will take you to your hotel in Puerto del Carmen. Before dinner, you have a meeting with our local guide who will explain the route and give you the maps, GPS and all the information you need for the trip. Time to explore the town of Puerto del Carmen. Accommodation in Puerto del Carmen.
  • Day 2 Puerto del Carmen - Orzola

    Although today’s route does not have a lot of climbing, The many technical sections will slow our pace down. After we have crossed the most populated area of ​the island, including the capital Arrecife, we ride through deserted landscape along some fun and flowy trails. We will cross towns as beautiful as Guatiza, Arrieta or Punta Mujeres and we will get our first experience biking over the hardened lava of the northern volcano of La Corona. The beauty of the outlandish landscape and stunning views make up for today's efforts. Accommodation in Orzola. Distance: 64 km; Positive gain: 350m
  • Day 3 La Graciosa

    After yesterday’s long ride, we are going to have a relaxing day on the island of La Graciosa, a unique place that you have to see before you leave Lanzarote. Forget about the world and cycle in the marvelous and bizarre landscape of this small but wonderfully calm and beautiful island with its amazing beaches. A short stage, perfect to prepare for the days to come, enjoy the excellent local cuisine and the beach. Accommodation in La Graciosa (breakfast not included).Distance: 30 km Positive gain: 330m
  • Day 4 Orzola - Famara
    50.0 km
    Alpine stage of the Vulcan Tour. Today we are going to cycle through the highest area of ​​the island. Although the highest point in Lanzarote is only 700 meters high, we will be climbing double that amount to get to the top. The continuous up and down along superb singletrails through stunning volcanic lansdscape make this an unforgettable day. Accommodation in Famara. Distance: 50 km Positive gain: 1400m
  • Day 5 Famara – Playa Blanca
    68.0 km
    The longest stage will take us over the hardened lavastreams of the impressive Timanfaya National Park. Nowhere on earth except Hawaii are we able to have a similar experience. After the unique experience of cycling through “lava hell", we will cross the pretty town of Yaiza and finish the route in the tourist town of Playa Blanca. Accommodation in Playa Blanca. Distance: 68 km Positive gain: 700m
  • Day 6 Playa Blanca – Puerto del Carmen

    Welcome to the wonderful world of Los Ajaches. Today’s stage is short but intense. To finish the Vulcan Tour, what better than a day in the most inhospitable and wild terrain of the whole island, and without a doubt the best terrain for mountain biking. TECHNIQUE and SKILLS LEVELS

This all mountain-tour is for experienced mountainbikers with a good physical condition. You should be comfortable on technical trails (both up and downhill) and long days on your bike. If this is not you, we recommend you join our classic VulcanTour in 6 cycling days (less kms, less climbing).

You need to be in good shape and have experience on technical trails to do this tour.

Alternatively, you can do this tour with an e-bike but even then this is a challenge!

- a decent mountainbike, full suspension will make the technical parcours easier
- E-bike is not prohibited (on the contrary)
