Day 1 ArrivalCollection at the airport (Barcelona or Girona) and arrival to the eco-sustainable hotel of Vilamaniscle, where we will stay between vineyards. Welcome meeting with a local guide who will provide you with maps and the GPS and will explain you each of the stages. Pairing-dinner with a presentation of the local Empordá wines.

Day 2 Vilamaniscle - Llançà12.0 kmFollowing the GR-11 trail to Llançà, you walk through the beautiful hills of the Alberes Nature Reserve, covered in pine and oak forests. At 4,2 kilometres we find the Sant Silvestre de Valleta chapel, a Romanesque building dated from the 10th century and located in a beautiful valley.In Llançà, we walk through the town centre where we can see the church and the Romanesque tower, and we walk down to the sea, crossing the harbor and the beach. Day 3 Llançà - Port de la Selva13.0 kmToday we will go from Llança to Port de la Selva by the GR11, passing Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery. This breath-taking monument has its origin in 878, although its definitive structure is from the 11th and 13th Centuries, when it reached its highest splendour as a pilgrims centre. Once at the top, it would be recommendable to complete the ascent to the San Salvador de Verdera Castle (671m). Descent towards the Cap the Creus Natural Park to our hotel. Day 5 Cadaqués – Roses20.0 kmA day of contrasts. As you leave the beautiful village of Cadaques, through the southern part of the Cap de Creus Natural Park, you pass spectacular little coves until you arrive to Cala Montjoi, where you join the Cami de Ronda. From this point, the path continues along the sea and as you get closer to Roses, the rugged coast makes way for the more popular beaches of this touristy seaside town. Accommodation in Roses.

Day 6 Roses- Sant Pere Pescador20.0 kmAfter a good breakfast, you will leave Roses and continue to Empuriabrava. This residential shore is one of the biggest and most original touristic places along the Mediterranean, with a net of navigable grid-shaped canals. Leaving Empuriabrava, you will enter into the heart of Aiguamolls de l’Empordá, protected marshlands that are home to countless seabirds. Arrival at San Pere Pescador.

Guided price
OUR RECOMMANDATIONS
The route winds through the mountains of the Alberes and the Cap de Creus along paths without technical difficulties. The terrain is hilly but the ascents are never longer than 30 minutes. You must take days of 4 to 6 hours per day of walking into account. A good condition is required but this route is suitable for anyone who likes to walk. The climb to the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes is the only demanding slope.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
With its airport and train station, Barcelona is the easiest way to travel to Catalonia. Gerona airport is a good alternative.
If you arrive in Barcelona airport, you can take the direct bus to Gerona: (www.sagalés.com). You can also take the R11 or AVE train from Barcelona to Figueres.
