Cycling from Seville to Cordoba is much more than a cycling holiday. A combination of cycle paths, rural roads and light traffic backroads cross the scarcely populated Andalusian countryside, where hilltop whitewashed villages proudly dominate the valleys below. The city of Seville is always alive with music, the cultural heritage of Carmona and Ecija stretches thousands of years, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cordoba is truly one of the most magical cities of the world.  The vast network of Seville´s cycle paths make it easy to visit the city by bike. The rural roads in the Andalusian countryside provde for easy cycling, although some steep but short hills need to be conquered and shade can be hard to find. If you do not like the heat, do not attempt to cycle here in the summer. The best season is spring (as early as end of February until end of May, and from mid September to end of November). The terrain can at times be a bit challenging, with some loose sand and rocks but this is not a difficult route. The tapas, wine and live music are never far away in Andalusia! This magical part of Spain is to be enjoyed with all your senses.
